New Cover - Pynk's 4th title, POLITICS.ESCORTS.BLACKMAIL.
My upcoming title hits the shelves on December 11, 2012 - thus far, I am only debuting the new cover on this blog. This time we have a guy on the cover, and that is for a very good reason. Enjoy the cover, and soon enough, the sex-see pages will be all yours. Time will fly, I promise! xoxo

Sixty-Nine - African American Literary Award Show Nominee
Sixty-Nine made it down to the final four, and is a finalist for an African American Literary Award Show award in the category of erotica.
This story is very important to me because it deals with three women, Magnolia, Rebe, and Darla, all born in 1969, who are sexually repressed. Sexual repression is a problem for a lot of women. More than anything, I believe this novel shows how our beliefs and past messages of guilt can tarnish our ability to be free and feel uninhibited.
Thank you to those who voted Sixty-Nine in as a finalist, and to those who voted in the final round. Win or lose on September 22, 2011, I'm honored and thankful to all of my readers for supporting me and giving my erotica novels a try.
Smooches,
xoxo

The Three Letter Word - SEX
Why is it that the word sex makes so many of us uncomfortable? Why is it so wrong to use the word, think the word, want the word, discuss the word, do the word?
From the time we were little, we're programmed about what's right and wrong. Sex has been filed under the "wrong" side. At times it should be. Some people abuse sex, take advantage of others, are irresponsible and illogical in their actions and thinking. Though sex is meant to be a good thing. A great thing. An amazing experience between consenting adults. Or alone.
The more I meet with and talk to women, especially since I've started writing erotica, the more I find that women have serious issues about sex, and also, some pretty high standards to meet. From a young age we're told that we should save ourselves for our husbands and remain a virgin until we're married. That we shouldn't touch ourselves, or even enjoy ourselves. That sex is meant for purposes of procreation. If we have sex in our teens we're thought of as loose, sullied, not virtuous, while the boys are learning to chase the "cat."
Most men prefer a virtuous woman, I get that - but we can be faithful and monogamous to someone and show our level of virtue in that way, as opposed to counting our number of former lovers and then judging us because our number might meet or outnumber the amount of mates our man has had. There is a double standard.
One reason I write erotica is to encourage women to embrace our sexuality and be proud of our bodies, our body parts, our feelings, pleasures, desires, needs, wants, etc. Stop the guilt. Healthy, consenting, responsible sex is our right. I understand those who want to be celibate or save themselves. I've done that as well. But let's stop the judgement of those who make up their own minds and decide to live the way they want to live, for themselves, without hurting anyone else. Feel free to get to know your body, learn about your body, learn what pleases you, and be proud of your sexuality.
Live your sexy dreams - responsibly. I've written books about swinging, sex addiction, sexual repression, escorts, etc., to show what can happen, good and bad, when certain decisions are made. It's fiction, yet these type of situations happen in the real world all day, every day.
Lighten up, yet respect yourself. Don't be afraid to take pole dancing classes, or watch x-rated movies, or try something different in the bedroom or in any other room in the house. I'm not promoting promiscuity, I'm encouraging the freeing of women's minds. And have sex because you want to, not because someone else wants you to.
Stop the judgement. Work through the guilt - those voices that tell you you're bad, dirty, slutty.
Stop the shame, adult women - have at it and please yourself. Love yourself. LIVE! And be SEX-SEE!
